Day 1: Ho Chi Minh ArrivalMeals: None
Met upon your arrival at Tan Son Nhat Airport, and transfer to your hotel. The rest of the day free at leisure. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh city
Day 2: Ho Chi Minh – Cu Chi Tunnels – Tay Ninh

Excursion to Tay Ninh, the head quarter of Cao Dai sect founded in 1923. Visit the ornate temple of Cao Dai and attend the fantastic Midday Mass ceremony when the followers fill the hall wearing coloured robes, a symbol of the curious combination of Confucianism, Taoism and Buddhism, Christianism and Islamism. Continue to the famous Cu Chi Tunnels an incredible underground network constructed by Vietnamese guerillas. The tunnels, virtually beneath the US bases for surprise attacks, contained hospitals, accommodation, schools and were used as a military base for Vietnam Communist Army in the US-Vietnam war.
Return to Ho Chi Minh city. Afternoon free at leisure.

Day 3: Ho Chi Minh – Can Tho

This Mekong Delta trip provides you a look at the real life and scenery on the Mekong river itself as well as on the bank of the river. Start the trip by a drive to Vinh Long which on the way is green/yellow rice paddy fields stretching towards the horizon. On arrival, you will embark a boat for exploring floating Cai Be market. The boat continues to AnBinh island for the bike trip to enjoy the countryside, and learn about the daily life of the locals. Drive to CanTho for overnight.
Day 4: Can Tho – Hoi An

In the morning, we make a the boat cruise to see the Cai Rang - Phong Dien floating market (the nicest one with heaps of rowing boats), the beautiful scenery and the daily activities of the locals who lives along the Mekong canals and you will roam through the village to visit a rice husking mill, a rice noodles making shop which are nice chances to discover the daily life of Vietnamese people in Mekong Delta. Have lunch at local restaurant (on own) before driving back to Ho Chi Minh City for your flight to Danang. Pick up and transfer to Hoi An.
Day 5: Hoi An

Days free to cycle through rice paddies in the countryside of Hoi An ancient town, shop for souvenirs among the antique shops and art galleries, or just sit at sidewalk cafes and soak up the atmosphere of this quaint town. Or relax on the white sandy beach of the famous China Beach.

Day 6: Hoi An – My Son – Hoi An

Transfer from Hoi An to My Son Holy land, once the spiritual capital of Champa Kingdom that dominated South East Asia for nearly a thousand years and occupied most of the central parts of Vietnam from 2nd century to 16th century with very rich in history and culture. Contemplate its remarkable red brick towers and sanctuaries dating from between the 7th and 13th centuries.
Drive back to Hoi An, free to visit the former merchants' homes, the 400 year-old Japanese Covered Bridge, Phuc Kien pagoda and the colourful riverside market.

Day 7: Hoi An – Hue

We will transfer to Hue in the morning with a visit to Cham Museum on the way. Continue to Hue through Hai Van pass, having lunch at Lang Co beach (On own). Arrival in Hue by noon. Check in Hotel before your visit to the Imperial Citadel. Overnight in Hue.
Day 8: Hue City Tour

Being the ancient capital, Hue is surrounded with ancient tombs of the past emperors, and with Orient style – those tombs almost located near the bank of Hue’s river – Perfume river. We first take the Dragon boat on Perfume river and visit Thien Mu Pagoda before driving to visit King Minh Mang or King Tu Duc’s tomb. Evening flight to Hanoi. Pick up and transfer to your hotel. Overnight in Hanoi.
Day 9: Hanoi – Lao Cai

8.00 am transfer by car to visit Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum and Museum, One pillar pagoda, Tran Quoc pagoda, Quan Thanh temple. After lunch, visit to Temple of Literature, Army Museum, Hanoi Flag Tower. Wandering around Hoan Kiem lake then visit Ngoc Son Temple and enjoy one hour cyclo trip around the trading area in Hanoi Old Quarter before enjoying the Water Puppet show. At 8.00 pm, we will transfer you to the train station for your night train to LaoCai.
Day 10: Lao Cai – Sapa

Arrive in the early morning in the border town of Lao Cai where it's a short transfer to Sapa. In the terraced hills and mountains of this area, the monotony of the expansive green landscape is enlivened by the colours of its hill tribe population. It is here you will find hands stained with colour from fabric dyes and shades of blue, red and green intricately embroidered and stitched into jackets, waistcoats, pants, skirts, caps, purses and leggings.
Take a morning walking tour of Sapa for a visit to the busy market where Red Dao, Black & Flower H'Mong, Tay and other ethnic minority people converge from the surrounding countryside to sell their silverware and handicrafts, and to buy provisions. Afterwards, take a light trek to discover Sapa's quaint hill tribe villages. Overnight in Sapa.
Day 11: Lao Chai – Ta Van

This morning, we drive to visit LaoChai and TaVan village of the Black H'mong and the Day people where you can enjoy fresh air, amazing scenery of the mountain, terraced ricefields learn unique culture and life of these ethnic groups. Back to Sapa, free for the rest of the day. Overnight in Sapa.
Day 12: Sapa – Lao Cai

Met upon at your arrival after the train. Morning drive to Halong Bay (165km), Vietnam most scenic sight, a recognized World Natural Heritage Site. Upon arrival, board your deluxe traditional wooden junk. Welcome drink on board. After a relaxing break, enjoy a delicious seafood lunch while cruising through the wonderful Ha Long bay visiting its amazing grottoes and caves. Opportunity to dive off the boat and have a pleasant swimming in the deep blue water of East Sea before relaxing on your sun deck to view a Halong sunset. Dinner on board with excellent fresh seafood.

Day 14: Halong – Hanoi

Get up early to catch the sunrise on the bay and relax with a cup of hot coffee or tea. We depart for a visit to the splendid grotto and a quick glimpse of a nearby fishing village. Enjoy another seafood lunch on board while cruising back through Halong bay to the pier. Transfer to Hanoi.

Day 15: Hanoi – Transfer
