This Vietnam culinary tour is created for the one who loves to explore Vietnamese art of cooking, beautiful dishes and interesting cooking experience. You can yourself later prepare some very famous Vietnamese Dishes for you and yours. The tour can be extended few days to Sapa in the north or some last relaxing day at one of Vietnam best beaches – Muine or Phu Quoc beach.

DETAILED ITINERARY
Day 1: Hanoi

Upon arrival, pick up by our guide and transfer to the hotel for check in. In the evening, we enjoy a fantastic traditional water puppet show and welcome dinner at a very nice Vietnamese restaurant. Free at leisure. Overnight in Hanoi.

Day 3: Hanoi Cooking Class

After breakfast, we tranHanoi cooking center, Hanoi cooking classsfer you to Hanoi cooking center.
9.30 am. Meet at HCC, enjoy a special “La Han” Vietnamese welcome tea
9.40 am. Brief introduction to Vietnamese cuisine, highlighting the contents of tradition meal.
9.50 am. Take a short walk to the Chau Long Market - Enjoy a tour of the market highlighting the ‘wet’ / unusual fruits / livestock / silk worms, with HCC chefs
10.20 am. Back to HCC and commence cooking class with HCC chefs, take home printed recipes as well as samples of some local fruit, green bean cake, quail eggs, etc.
12.00 pm. On completion of the cooking class, enjoy the meal and a chance to chat with Tracey Lister and Linh , relax in the comfort of the HCC dining area and enjoy a local beer or wine or lemon juice
1.00 pm. Finish Class, receive going home gift and visit the HCC shop with Vietnamese Culinary tools, books, spices etc available for purchase
Day 4: Hanoi – Ha Long

Morning drive to Halong Bay (165km), Vietnam most scenic sight, a recognized World Natural Heritage Site. Upon arrival, board your deluxe traditional wooden junk. Welcome drink on board. After a relaxing break, enjoy a delicious seafood lunch while cruising through the wonderful Ha Long bay visiting its amazing grottoes and caves. Opportunity to dive off the boat and have a pleasant swimming in the deep blue water of East Sea before relaxing on your sun deck to view a Halong sunset. Dinner on board with excellent fresh seafood.

Day 5: Ha Long – Hanoi – Hue

Get up early to catch the sunrise on the bay and relax with a cup of hot coffee or tea. We depart for a visit to the splendid Sung Sot grotto and a quick glimpse of a nearby fishing village. Enjoy another seafood lunch on board while cruising back through Halong bay to the pier. Transfer to Hanoi Airport for afternoon flight to Hue ( ). Upon arrival, pick up and transfer to the hotel for check in. Free at leisure. Overnight in Hue
Day 6: Hue

Morning cruise leisurely aloHue royal dinner, royal dinner hueng the romantic Perfume River visiting the Thien Mu Pagoda, Citadel and the Imperial tomb of the Emperor Minh Mang. This evening, enjoy delicious and interesting royal dinner. Transfer back to your hotel and free at leisure.

Day 7: Hue – Hoi An

Day 8: Hoi An cooking class (from 8.15am – 1pm)

We start the day (8.15am) with a welcome drink at Hai Café
(98 Nguyen Thai Hoc Street, Hoi An Ancient Town, Tel: 3863210) – our meeting point.
Visit Hoi An’s colourful market, and experience the amazing sights, sounds and aromas of this busy market. We will have the opportunity to interact with the local sellers and learn about all the ingredients to be used in the cooking lesson later.
hoian cooking class, red bridge cooking schoolWe board the Red Bridge boat for a leisurely cruise (25 minutes) along the Hoi An River to the Red Bridge Cooking School. This is a chance to view local river life, so make sure your camera is handy.
On arrival, we explore the cooking school’s herb garden, before learning about some of Hoi An’s and Vietnam’s well-known dishes. The cooking lesson runs for about 2 hours – the Red Bridge chefs first demonstrate each dish before we prepare the same dish ourselves. Included in the class is a brief introduction to Vietnamese food carving (plate decoration). After the lesson, we sit down and eat what we have cooked.
Bring your swimsuit and after the cooking tour has finished relax and enjoy free use of our new 20 metre swimming pool.

Day 9: Hoi An

Day 10: Hoi An – Danang – Ho Chi Minh

After the breakfast, transfer to the airport for the flight to Ho Chi Minh (). Upon arrival, transfer to Hoi An. Free at leisure.

Day 11: Ho Chi Minh cooking class

This course is a hands-on initiation to the Vietnamese Cuisine Art, giving you the opportunity not only to learn how to cook them and reproduce them once you return to your home country, but also to taste our delicious dishes. Besides the hands-on learning, it’s fun, entertaining and informative. Back to your hotel after lunch. Free at lesiure and overnight in Ho Chi Minh.
Day 12: Ho Chi Minh Departure (B)
After the breakfast, transfer to the airport for your departure flight.
