To begin the journey, tourists have to queue at Tam Coc Wharf to take a boat to travel along rivers. The pier is crowded with tourists from morning till afternoon. People coming here share the same pleasant feeling about such a nice picture with the classical communal house, ancient banian tree, mossgrown well, marble rock, and friendly locals.

Day 1: Hanoi Arrival
Met upon arrival by your guide and driver, transfer toWater Puppet your hotel in the heart of Hanoi old quarter for check in. After the rest, our guide will come back for walking tour around the old trading center, and a nice visit to NgocSonTemple, Hoan Kiem Lake. In the evening, you will have good time to enjoy the famous Water Puppet show-a unique art form of Vietnam. Overnight in Hanoi.
Day 2: Free day in Hanoi – Lao Cai
Today, you are free to explore the city. until we transfer you to the train station for the overnight train to Lao Cai. Overnight on train.
Day 3: Lao Cai – Sapa
Arrive in the early morning in the border town of Lao Cai where it's a short transfer to Sapa. In the terraced hills and mountains of this area, the monotony of the expansive green landscape is enlivened by the colours of its hill tribe population. It is here you will find hands stained with colour from fabric dyes and shades of blue, red and green intricately embroidered and stitched into jackets, waistcoats, pants, skirts, caps, purses and leggings.
Take a morning walking tour of Sapa for a visit to the busy market where Red Dao, Black & Flower H'Mong, Tay and other ethnic minority people converge from the surrounding countryside to sell their silverware and handicrafts, and to buy provisions. Afterwards, take a light trek to discover Sapa's quaint hill tribe villages. Overnight in Sapa.
Day 4: Lao Chai – Tavan

Day 5: Sapa – Lao Cai
In the morning either visit one of the areas weekly markets (the market location rotates daily, contact your travel consultant for more information) or enjoy free time to discover Sapa at your own leisure.

In the late afternoon transfer back to Lao Cai to catch the night train back to Hanoi. Overnight on the train.
Day 6: Hanoi – Hoa Lu & Tam Coc

Pick up from the train station and head south for the two hour drive along Highway One. We spend one hour visiting the Dinh and Le sanctuaries. These are the two remaining temples of the ancient citadel of Hoa Lu. The first is dedicated to Dinh Tien Hoang (also known as Dinh Bo Linh), an Emperor from the Dinh Dynasty. The second commemorates the rulers of the Le Dynasty. Dinh Bo Linh successfully conquered Vietnam’s first independent rulers, the Ngo Dynasty. On his death in 980, General Le Hoan wisely married Dinh’s widow and established the Le Dynasty and enlarged the citadel.
We then move on to Tam Coc for a three hour boat trip along the Boi River. This area is rightly often referred to as the Ha Long Bay on land due to the similar topography. Overnight in Tam Coc.
Day 7: Tam Coc – Halong Bay

Morning drive to Halong Bay (165km), Vietnam most scenic sight, a recognized World Natural Heritage Site. Upon arrival, board your deluxe traditional wooden junk. Welcome drink on board. After a relaxing break, enjoy a delicious seafood lunch while cruising through the wonderful Ha Long bay visiting its amazing grottoes and caves. Opportunity to dive off the boat and have a pleasant swimming in the deep blue water of East Sea before relaxing on your sun deck to view a Halong sunset. Dinner on board with excellent fresh seafood.

Day 8: Halong Bay – Hanoi

Get up early to catch the sunrise on the bay and relax with a cup of hot coffee or tea. We depart for a visit to the splendid Sung Sot grotto and a quick glimpse of a nearby fishing village. Enjoy another seafood lunch on board while cruising back through Halong bay to the pier. Transfer to Hanoi airport for your flight to Hue. Upon your arrival and hotel check in, free at leisure. Overnight in Hue.
Day 9: Hue
Meals: B, L
After breakfast, an beautiful boat cruise on the gentle Perfume River and visit Thien Mu Pagoda, Citadel and Emperor Minh Mang and Khai Dinh’s tomb. Overnight in Hue.
Day 10: Hue – Hoi An
After breakfast, we drive to Hoian, stop over at Lang Co beach for break/swim. Overnight in Hoian.
Day 11: Hoi An – MySon

Transfer from Hoi An to My Son Holy land, once the spiritual capital of Champa Kingdom that dominated South East Asia for nearly a thousand years and occupied most of the central parts of Vietnam from 2nd century to 16th century with very rich in history and culture. Contemplate its remarkable red brick towers and sanctuaries dating from between the 7th and 13th centuries.
Drive back to Hoi An, free to visit the former merchants' homes, the 400 year-old Japanese Covered Bridge, Phuc Kien pagoda and the colourful riverside market.

Day 12: Hoi An
Days free to cycle through rice paddies in the countryside of Hoi An ancient town, shop for souvenirs among the antique shops and art galleries, or just sit at sidewalk cafes and soak up the atmosphere of this quaint town. Or relax on the white sandy beach of the famous China Beach.
Overnight in Hoi an.
Day 13: Danang – Sai Gon
Free in Hoian until we transfer you to the airport for your flight to Sai Gon, visit Cham Museum on the way. Upon your arrival in SaiGon, transfer to your hotel that located right at the center. Overnight in SaiGon.
Day 14: Sai Gon – CanTho (Bassac Cruise)

08.00 Our driver and car will pick you up at the hotel for transfer to Can Tho. Boarding at Ninh Kieu pier. Welcome drink, introduction to the ship and crew, check into the cabins. Departure downstream of the Hau river. Lunch on board while en route. Tour near Tra On floating market.
Turning into Nicolai canal, towards the Mang Thit and Co Chien rivers. Rest on the upper deck in a scenery of rice fields, sugar cane, woods on the near banks.
Visit of a village on the banks of river Mang Thit, an opportunity to appreciate the way of life and hospitality of the local inhabitants. Visit of the orchard or rice fields nearby.
Boarding back, complimentary drink as a welcome back on board. Rest on the deck or around the bar enjoying the sunset. The crew will serve dinner while the Bassac is cruising Mang Thit river towards her anchorage point for the night.
The Bassac sets anchor for the night on river Mang Thit. Overnight on board.
Day 15: CanTho – Cai Be – Sai Gon
06:30 Departure towards Cai Be. The passengers take their breakfast while enjoying the scenery on the banks.The Bassac crosses Co Chien river then branches into Cho Lach canal for 30 minutes through the traffic of sand and rice barges, in a scenery of fruit drying facilities and wooden ship building yards.
Arrival in Cai Be, check-out and boarding of a local boat for a tour of Cai Be floating market and handicraft.Leaving the board at Cái Bè. Drive back to Saigon for hotel’s check in.
Overnight in Saigon.
Day 16: Sai Gon Departure
